My dad and I got up early in the morning on September 24th and headed to Angola, Indiana to catch our train to Pleasant Lake, Indiana. The excursion were one of many that the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society and the Indiana Northeastern Railroad Company hosted this season as part of the Indiana Rail Experience. While the trip was short and the day was long, the memories of riding behind the 765 with my dad in a open baggage car will last a lifetime.
