Riding the Canada Line in Richmond/Vancouver, BC. This video starts off at Langara-49th Station in South Vancouver and ends at Oakridge-41st station. The Canada Line has 15 stations. 7 of them are in Richmond, BC (which also includes the Airport and surrounding areas.) and 8 of them in Vancouver. There is also another metro system (that is now formed by TransLink BC into one in 2009.) in Vancouver called the Skytrain. The skytrain consists of 2 lines, the Expo Line and the Millinem line. The Skytrain was opened in December 1985 with only the Expo line, then the Millinem line was opened in 2002. After a few years of planning and construction, the Canada Line was opened to the public on August 17, 2009. And on that day, the admission was free. This was filmed exactly 2 years after grand opening.
