This video shows some scenes from "Riding Club Championships", an online horse game FOR FREE.
I'm sorry, but I won't answer questions if the answers are written in the vide description.
TO THE GAME
In this game you can create your own horse and rider, though you can only decide which colors your characters should have. (You can't pick size, breed, gender only for your rider.)
There are (until yet) 4 categorys: show jumping, dressage, maneuvering and cross country. Before playing the competitions, you'll have to pass the training to reach Tier 2.
To be able to play Cross Country, you must reach "Tier 3", the highest Tier of the game.
This game is COMPLETELY FREE. You will never have to pay anything for it.
Ignore the "Buy more playtime"-button on the website, it's just there because people had to pay for it once, and no one seems to refresh the homepage.
But that's the past. You just have to download it. It also has no virus or other dangerous software; even though sometimes your system thinks it's a trojan.
(Well, at least mine did. ^^)
By the way; the game can only be played with a PC, not a Mac. =)

And this game can be updated every day, so it's possible that there are new game features coming. But I can't update the video, so don't be surprised if there are new things that aren't mentioned here. ;3

It is really bittersweet to hear how much you all are missing our game. It is sad to hear that you feel so let down. But at the same time if fills us with great pride to hear that we have touched so many of you.
We began developing RCC 6 years ago. Back then it was supposed to be called Pony Stable. We found out it might not be the best name, as the horses in our game were not really ponies. We set ourselves a really ambitious goal. We wanted to make a proper horse riding game. A game with deep gameplay, great graphics, and online functionality. At that time, there seemed to be a lot of people that thought that you could sell any crappy game, as long as the cover was pink and it had a picture of a horse. With RCC we wanted to give you the high quality game that you deserved!
From the looks of the comments in this group, is seems as though we succeeded. So why you ask, have did we have to take it down (Why, why, whyyy?). Like many of you have guessed, the reason is a financial one. All the love we have put into the game have given us very little back financially. Even at its peak with subscriptions, we were loosing money.
We decided to turn the game into free to play, in the hope that it would build up a bigger active player base, and then we could introduce items that could be sold. But, like most of you have noticed, our old server technology was not able to handle the amount of players coming in. As the date for when we had to renew all our server and hosting costs approached, it seemed like the hour was drawing near when we would have to do one of the saddest thing in the world - say goodbye to our horse.
But then an opportunity arose. We had a really great server technology having just developed Battlestar Galactica Online. And if we could make the game in Unity 3D, we would be able to host it on facebook, something that Artplant´s owners are very keen on. So we were allowed to give RCC a new chance!
We are very sad about not being able to warn you earlier, and handle the shutdown more smoothly. Our hosting partner turned off the switch a lot sooner than we expected them to, and did not give any information about it.
We look forward to seeing you all, real s... oh what the heck, it will be SOON!
(Unfortunately, the game shut down and is now playable per Facebook... but believe me, it's not nearly that awesome as it was. ._.)
