I really recommend going on one of these boat rides if you visit Iwate. They're a perfect way to see some of the most beautiful parts of the coast that are otherwise inaccessible. (If you don't have a drone, this is the only way to see some of these great views!)

Boats rides are by reservation only. So call them at least a day in advance or use their contact for that you can see on the website in the link above.

Prices are 3,800 per person for adults, 3,000 yen for elementary school students. If there's just one of you and no one else on the boat, it will be 7,600 yen.
