RIDGID has completely revamped its SubCompact lineup with the new RIDGID 18V NUKE SubCompact Brushless tools, but are they actually worth the upgrade?
In this video, I put the new RIDGID NUKE Hammer Drill and NUKE 4-Mode Impact Driver to the test. These tools promise significantly more performance while maintaining the compact size that made RIDGID’s previous SubCompact tools so appealing.
The new NUKE hammer drill delivers up to 750 in-lbs of torque and 2,000 RPM, while the NUKE impact driver is rated for 2,000 in-lbs of torque, 3,800 RPM and 5,000 IPM. But specifications only tell part of the story, so we’ll look at real-world performance, size, weight, ergonomics, features and how these new tools compare with the previous generation.
