Filipino hip-hop is crossing borders and reaching new ears, carried by artists who turn every beat into a sound that demands to be heard.

Billboard Philippines Soundwave, powered by Coke Studio Philippines, welcomes #AlJames for his first Billboard Philippines Soundwave appearance with “Ride Slow.” The rapper and songwriter, who was part of Coke Studio Season 3, returns with a song built around taking things at his own pace and reflecting the approach that has long shaped his music.

Now on its 10th season, Coke Studio continues to create spaces for Filipino artists to bring their music to wider audiences. With “Ride Slow,” Al James adds his voice to that ongoing story, connecting the energy of Pinoy hip-hop with listeners beyond the Philippines.
