Greg Yager’s Yamaha Ténéré 700, known as the “Old Girl,” has clocked over 103,000km, almost all exclusively off-road, as part of the RideADV’s fleet. One of Australia’s first Ténéré 700s, it has served as a test bed, tour leader and development bike since 2019.
Despite harsh conditions it operated in, it has required only routine maintenance, proving the durability of Yamaha’s CP2 engine and the importance of Yamaha Genuine parts and Yamalube Lubricants. The engines internal components showed excellent condition during a recent check, and the bike remains reliable and trusted.
