Step by step how to take the bus from the Santiago, Chile airport into downtown Santiago to connect with the Santiago’s extensive metro system. We have used the inexpensive Centropuerto public bus from the airport several times. The bus fare is currently 1800 chilean pesos for a one-way ticket. The bus runs from the airport to the Los Heroes metro stop and leaves every 10 minutes during the day from 6:00am until 11:30pm, and overnight, the bus runs hourly.
