I opened the box, pulled out the Ricoh Theta X and plugged it in to charge the battery. It booted up and I started configuring the camera while plugged in to the PC USB-C port. This 360 camera then started getting quite warm. After roughly 20 minutes, the camera generated an error and shut down. The error was "Thermal Error". Basically, it overheated. It is 72 degrees on my desk.
