Back in September, the Bluegrass Army Depot (a chemical weapons stockpile in Madison County), conducted their annual CSEPP disaster exercise. During this event, all means of notification are tested, from Tone Alert Radios to sirens. Unfortunately, their idea of a "test" was simply a voice message. Not to mention, they were not very transparent about the time of the siren test when I made a phone call. Nonetheless, it's a pretty cool ambience and really shows how heavily laden the coverage is in Richmond (and the rest of the county). Enjoy!
