Zak Wolf | Richard Scarry's Busytown PC Game Comparison: Mr. Fixit, Exit @ZakWolf | Uploaded December 2023 | Updated October 2024, 39 minutes ago.
Here's a mini-series I am doing to celebrate the 30th anniversary of one of my favorite childhood PC games: "Richard Scarry's Busytown!" Here I will be comparing the original 1993 MS-DOS version (which I had as a kid back in the 90s) with its' enhanced 1999 remake.
I've saved the best for last! This is the activity that features Mr. Fixit, everyone's favorite handy-fox, and his complicated means of making hot chocolate. In addition to showing how the things that can and do go wrong differ, I also show the different ways the game closes down when you exit.
NOTE: I had to re-upload this due to a mistake I made with one of the captions.
