So, for the third challenge we were asked to take two characters & switch their stories. BUT we had to focus on both & that's the hard part lol
I've been having MANY ideas, but none I could actually put into a vid, then this morning I tried this song. I started to make a trailer a week ago, but I think a music vid fits better.
Kahlan is the Seeker, Richard is the man sworn to protect her in her quest. What do you think of it so far? Should I continue or change completely???
There are a few glitches I have to fixm but any tips would be very useful :) Thanks!

Started it on June 9, 2010 & finished this morning at 4AM because Ive been asked a lot if I would ever finish it... especially by my lovely SeekerTiz *cuoricino*

Now, this is the plot (everything is kinda messy so I suggest you read it!):
Cara is an ex-MordSith, now jobless & become con-artist. She travels through various courts & tricks men into loving her so that she can steal & have fun while doing it.
Once, she gets to the Magrave & Uthers (pretend theyre related, like brothers, & Arthur is Uthys son :) palace where there are Richard & Young Zedd, as guests, & Spartacus & Varro, as slaves, too.
She kinda starts flirting with everyone & everyone is jealous of the other. So well, the Magrave gets VERY jealous after finding her with Ricky, he manages to escape, but she is sentenced to rotting in his dangeons, while Arthur, whos madly in love with our gal (man, who wouldnt? lol) tries to convince him to have mercy on her. So, well, Arthur helps Cara escape BUT in the meantime Young Zedd is transformed by a bad Merlin back into old Zedd, Uther is pissed because its proof of magic & kills off Zedd while Cara, Richard & Kahlan watch helpless.
Second part: our merry band of bandits, composed of Cara, Richard, Kahlan AND Arthur, decide Caras life is good fun & start new cons & scams in other courts... included that of a very hot king :D
After having been occupied in convincing Henry shes a very respectable woman (aka Ferocious Smexy Times with him), she goes to the dungeon to steal some gold only to find another merry band of bandits: yesh. That of Robin Hood! They split the money but Robin wants something else in return ... you can decide by their expressions what it is... Arthur kinda makes fun of Cara afterwards.
The rest is quite obvious :DD BUT she keeps acting like a b.i.t.c.h & Arthur kind of gets jealous, because by being her lover he thinks he gets the exclusive of her feelings. Once he realizes its not like that he starts acting bitchy too, assigning her to tons of kings to rob (becoming a sort of PIMP xD).
Richard & Kahlan have left and Cara & Arthur are attacked by bandits. Cara is killed, goes to the NoUndiesWorld & Arthur is distraught. In the meantime she flirts with Darken Rahl who makes her a Baneling. She wakes up, runs from Arthur & keeps going after courts & kings, but now, in order to survive, she also has to kill them.
She meets Arthur in a tavern, they spend the night together (it doesnt mean that they sleep together though, thats up to you... in my mind they didnt this time because theyve become too cute for that :P) and in the morning she walks away, because they cant ever be together... shes a treacherous, evil Baneling after all.

I know, the last few seconds kind of suck, dont know what happened ... but the manips we sooooooo much fun to make! I think Ill stick my editing carreer to crossovers &/or AUs!
Also I havent put all the fandoms I wanted in it... oh well :P")

Alright, sooo... everyone seemed pretty eager to see this, thats why I decided to wrap it up *before* starting to study :P
As I wrote in the description of the preview, the deadline for this challenge is in the middle of my finals & I didnt want to find myself torn between actually passing the finals or passing the next round, lol
Thats why I started this as soon as I saw the results (luckily enough inspiration for this challenge came during Maths class & I found the perfect music for it :P).
Anyways, we were asked to take a fandom & rebuild the story to mimick a fairytale (I hope the one I picked is obvious enough... the title of the movie kinda recalls the soundtrack, if you want one more hint :P).
Awesome challenge, if you ask me :)
Cara was in this video before I even thought about making one, but I needed to find a prince... but there are no princes for Cara in LOTS, so whats my fav crossover couple? Oh, yeah.
So, after Pendragon jr. came into play & all the other pieces started going into place by themselves.
Oh... theres a surpise... person. Youll know who Im talking about at around the middle of the vid :P Most Cara fans will be pleased about my choice :)

STORYLINE
This is set in the wonderful AU universe Zedd created in Unbroken. Cara is a young widow, mother of two & school-teacher. (Richard & Kahlan are off making babiez in DHara & the Keeper is NOT going to ruin this for me). One day she wishes to be something more... maybe a princess?
And who answers her desperate call? But, of course, the awesomastic Zeddicus Zul Zorander, Wizard of the First Order.
He grants her her wish & takes her to Camelot, where she is formally introduced by a very funny herald as Princess Lorelain of Thryce, with a crossdressing Zedd as her aunt & Richard (borrowed from his boring kingdom of DHara) to play her golden-haired brother. Cute. Hot. Whatever.
ANYWAYS... That stud of a Prince Arthur falls for our newly-become Princess and wants to spend more time with her.
She falls for him as well, cuz, you know, theyre hot, but Zedd cockblocks once more and brings her back to reality: shes not really a princess and cant really be together.
The carnival act leaves Camelot & Cara goes back to her old life... but someone pops up :)
A fight between love, royalty and two hotties. Who & what will win? No idea. Ill leave that to you.
I love Arthur, but theyre kinda impossible... and I also love Leo, but hes kinda dead in the non AU version of LOTS... so I guess that leaves Caras book interest, Benjy, but I aint confusing you more than I already have.

*this is an AU, crossover trailer and its purely fanmade.
*the scene in the end is a bit too long to be that of an actual trailer, but it was a perfect ending and I couldnt really cut it to bits.
*the subs can be considered distracting, but I hate to add voiceovers because most of the time people cant understand them... so I thought it might be easier to follow the story without having to check the description for every line.
*If I fail my test tomorrow (I will let you know), this video is NOT to blame :)

Oh, yes, also, there are A LOT of glitches. I wanted to fix them & re-render it, but my sister is using my external hard-disc at the moment, where I keep my Merlin epis. So, sorry about those! I might be changing or at least modify the coloring, too!
Plot: Cara is sent away by Richard after the revelation she killed Denee & Kahlan going into the ConDar. She has no place to go, but, realising she is near Camelot, she decides to go to her sister, Grace, who lives in the country side. She is not well welcomed by Graces husband, who is a faithful follower to Uther & hater of anything that is magic. But Grace convices him to let Cara stay with them despite her being a MordSith. She lends her a dress, mostly to disguise her, & invites her to dinner. Everything is fine until guards come & she is brought before Uther. She is condamned to death for being a creature of magic, but most of all for being an evil MordSith, & Arthur is to kill her the next day. But Arthur cant get this mysterious woman out of his head. He knows its not her fault if she is a MordSith because he heard stories about their training. He goes to visit her, to tell her hes sorry, but she doesnt want his sympathy.
At dawn everyone but Arthur is prepared. Morgana visits him in his chambers & convinces him to do it: one woman is not worth facing Uthers wrath.
He is about to kill her, but fails. Both Cara & Arthur are brought before Uther. Arthur explains to his father the horrors she had to endure, hoping for some sympathy. She was not born with magic, she was broken. But Uther is just deluded by his son. He offers no punishment for Arthur but watching that woman, an evil sorceress, die by his own hand, because, apparently, his son, heir to the throne, does not have the courage to do as ordered.
During the night, Arthur is able to sneak past the guards & to open Caras cell... TBC
Phew... this was long, lol.
What do you think? Is it worth continuing? Let me know!! I love this couple so I will be making more vids about them, but I dont know if this storyline works so far :P

This is my fourth attempt at uploading this vid. I lost the long description I had written & have no intention of re-writing it.
Basic points:
1. Love Nicci. Loved Jolene, but prefer Emily. It was good to have them both.
2. Kinda getting back to the Nicci/Richard shipping mood I was in while reading the Chainfire Trilogy.
3. Cara/Kahlan interaction was golden.
4. Loved Michael Nouri.
5. Despite being completely different from the books, the show still manages to get better & better.
6. Sorry for butchering the song.
7. No, the video its not a shippy one. Its just my take on Niccis fascination for Richard from Dark to Bound.
