"In terms of the Disney canon," he says, "one of my first memories of being struck by this whole thing of wanting to be a performer was in 1993. I was sitting in a dark theatre watching Aladdin. I'm watching Robin Williams play this insane genie character. I'm on the floor, as is the rest of the audience, and I looked over at my mom and said, 'I want to do that one day,' meaning, that I want to be the comedic relief sidekick in one of these Disney films. So to then get that phone call, saying, you are that guy, I had to hold the phone down because I was sobbing with joy.
