Here's another favorite track by Rice that I thought deserved a tribute. Such a catchy song that captures two different moods in one; serenity and uncertainty/discord. I chose this movie for a couple reasons; it's bittersweet in a lot of ways, the friendship between Gosling's character and the girl is obviously an unlikely one, but they have a mutual understanding of each other and are both susceptible to influences that lead them down troubled paths (his addiction, her poor parental influences). Because the song has two different moods that alternate, I think it's the perfect backdrop for drug use in general. Additionally, the scene with her rubbing his head with a wet paper towel in the bathroom fits the track's name. I could have went for something obvious with this one, but I wanted to interpret the song in my own way and not just find "sensual" scenes. I recommend the movie to anyone, it has an awesome soundtrack and it's a good watch.
