A 44s time is actually possible now with the bees first attack if you get 7 bees using a crazy strategy Jason2890 came up with after I think being inspired by a suggestion Pahviboxi had made in chat one day lol. But 45s is the peak time for punches first whether you go for the 2-cycle super skip or the 1-cycle regular skip strategy that was discovered after this recording that actually avoids the time loss you would get if you got unlucky and got 7 bees.
