Ribbon Snake misses Little Brown Skink @StuffISawOutside

A Western Ribbon Snake (Thamnophis proximus) seems to spot a Little Brown Skink (Scincella lateralis) but eventually loses it among the leaves on the ground at Smith Oaks Bird Sanctuary, in High Island, TX, USA.

I think it's particularly interesting when the Snake starts to undulate when it seems to spot the Skink. It reminds me of how cats wiggle right before they pounce on potential prey.
