Official ribbon-cutting ceremony for our newest fire station—Saint Paul Fire Station 3. 15 years ago, this station closed its doors as an active fire station. Since then it has been home to the EMS Academy and our BLS Division. Most recently it served as a shelter for our unsheltered neighbors during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now after a full remodel, this state- of-the-art facility represents our commitment to health, safety, and responsive service to our community. We are proud to announce that Station 3 will serve as the home of Engine 3, Medic 3, Medic 34 and our CARES Team. More than just a building, Fire Station 3 will expand fire and EMS coverage along the busy West 7th corridor, improving response times and enhancing the level of service for residents, businesses and visitors of this neighborhood, Ward, and all of Saint Paul.
