Scratch-O! It's the Rhythm Heaven Song "Let's Practice!", but it's remixed with my favourite rhythm minigames from the entire series! If you cannot already tell, I am in love with these games. I'm so cocoo for em that I spent a total of 30 hours making this, visuals and all. The only thing that kept this from being more than 5 minutes long was that I decided I needed to stop adding more minigames to it, it just grew way too big. I had way too much fun remixing all this together, I hope some of your favourite minigames are in there.
A bit of background, most of these are pretty faithful to the series, but some get more original and end up being remixed into oblivion. I basically downloaded an insane amount of rhythm heaven samples and fit them each individually into this thing. The filenames were pretty messy so I had to reverse engineer them by ear to hear which sounds went where. Because of this, not everything you hear is *exactly* one to one (lookin' at you, karate joe), but I think it gets the job done.
The musical half was done a long while ago, and the visuals were made pretty recently. I wasn't sure how to take original clips of the minigames and sync em up, so I made my own video! This is all made within FL Studio's ZGameEditor Visualizer, which is probably not the most ideal thing to do this kind of video editing in. You can tell where I started to really get fun with it (Hole in One & Bossa Nova!) I'm extremely satisfied with how expressive I managed to make the final animations look (Fan Club!), so please stick around for that. Rhythm Heaven is an incredible series and I hope this manages to capture a glimpse of that magic of rhythm that the series is known for.
Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta go apologize to my computer for having to deal with such a disastrously messy project file.
