RHOA's Kelli Potter β formerly Kelli Ferrell β is in a real financial bind. π According to legal docs, a judge entered a DEFAULT judgment against Kelli and her restaurant, Nana's Chicken-N-Waffles, after they didn't respond to a lawsuit from creditor ARF Financial β to the tune of $217,370.21 in principal, plus fees and interest. Now the creditor has subpoenaed MULTIPLE banks trying to find accounts they can seize to collect.
Kelli's camp says the debt goes back to a business loan she and her ex-husband, Mark Ferrell, took out over FIVE years ago while married β and that she argued in their divorce that HE should be on the hook for it. Her rep also says she hasn't been officially served yet. The wildest part? All of this is happening while Nana's is EXPANDING, with a second location she's been showing off on Season 16.
