Dropping a Red Hot Nickel Ball into a bowl of sugar is what we do in this 4k slow motion video. amazingly this started a fire with the sugar very quickly then it formed a carbon crust around the entire red hot nickel ball.
This was very incredible to see in 4k slow motion.
We heated this ball up to the point where it was almost molten... very hot, more than red hot for sure.
We might just have to do more things with our RHNB
