A tribute to Rhea Ripley. The future. She is one of the pillars of NXT and women's wrestling going forward.
Notes:
- Adelaide, Australia is the first shots. Then, it morphs to the Sydney Opera House solely because it's the most famous landmark of Australia.
- Of Mice & Men "Second & Sebring" is the music video/band used. It was Rhea's original theme and one of her favorite songs.
- Apathy - The 4 Horsewomen. Since they've left NXT there's been alot of indifference towards the women's division of NXT until the emergence of the new pillars. Rhea being one of those pillars.
- Greed - Shayna Baszler. Baszler's long-reign and using under-handed means symbolizing greed.
- Corruption - Vince McMahon. A portion of the audience's perception of the Chairman and how he allowed several aspects to corrupt the original vision of what WWE should be. Not my opinion on Vince but it's a popular opinion with many on the internet.
- Kylie Minogue, one of Australia's most popular and successful pop-stars is shown as a tribute to the country for a moment.
- Batman fans will immediately recognize that the theme of the tribute is the opening of the 2000s series Batman Beyond. It's a metaphor to Rhea being the future of women's wrestling. There is a longer version of her tribute but I decided to keep it the same amount of time as the original show
