HHS Sec. RFK Jr. announced a $32 million DEPEND program on Wednesday aimed at helping schools provide nutritious meals for students.

“DEPEND will give schools the tools to replace highly processed foods with real, nutrient-dense food,’ Kennedy said.

RFK Jr. also responded to reports of two measles deaths in Pennsylvania, saying Governor Josh Shapiro and the state are refusing to cooperate with the Trump administration on the measles outbreak.

Kennedy continued by stating that U.S. is doing a better job than any other country in controlling the outbreak.
