TROS is such a mess. I enjoyed it when I watched it, but, as much as I would like to, I don't buy into Ben's redemption and the whole Reylo moment. The only logical continuation for his story was for him to become the main villain. Plus bringing Palpatine back and making Rey his granddauther is on the level of a bad fanfic (or The Cursed Child). Ben chose power over everything else. I'm not saying there was zero hope for him, but the change was too dramatic. It felt completely unearned. This whole movie feels detached from TLJ.
