Listen to Mary Reynolds, well known author, activist and rewilder, speak with Maddy Harland (Permaculture magazine) and Delvin Solkinson (Visionary Permacuture) about how she has gradually restored arable land into a fabulous wild garden. She describes her process step by step, how she found a 'ghost' pond, re-established ecosystems, started establishing meadows and what will become a new broadleaf woodland. Her wild land is teaming with life, is as low maintenance as possible and she has created a place of beauty, peace and abundance.
Mary explains what Acts Restorative Kindness are and the deep impact they have on the land and our relationship with the web of life. She speaks about the collpase of nature, the creation of wastelands, and how vital it is to re-establish Nature. In doing so, society will work so much better as well.
We ask her what her primary solutions are and how important the role human beings now play in the rewilding of the land as well as the importance of standing back and allowing Nature to heal. She appeals to us all to become more conscious of our actions and their consequences and also explains why she is more hopeful than she was five years ago, despite all of the escalating problems of the world.
