I tried a few ways to revive NiCad rechargeable batteries. the way I tried most recent is to check the voltage of the battery to give you a starting point then shock the battery pack with 30V DC power. about 5 to 20 short taps being careful not to over heat the battery. then fully discharge the battery then fully recharge the battery. this step should help in giving you a longer battery life and help rest the "memory" effect. then you want to fully discharge the battery again and well put it in the freezer for 4-6 hours take it out let it sit at room temperature for 6+ hours before fully charging it again. I am not sure of the science behind freezing the battery but that is what I read on a few battery forums and decided to give this method a try.
