Released in the spring of 1989, 'The Miracle' was the penultimate Queen album released in Freddie Mercury's life-time. Their first LP not to be promoted by a tour (though the sad reasons for this were covered up by Freddie and the band), it found the group writing some strong material compromised perhaps by a few-too-many 'keyboard pre-sets'.
I bought this record the summer before I went away to uni, and it holds a special place in my heart and some great memories. Join me in the garden on a summer's day, as I rediscover 'The Miracle'...
NB: In this video I incorrectly state that I was 16 when the album came out. In fact I was nearly 18.
