We've reached the 50th instalment of my series 'Revisiting...', (I go back so far, I'm in front of me!), so what better way to celebrate than by looking at Paul McCartney's fab 'return to form' 1997 album 'Flaming Pie'. Featuring contributions from Ringo Starr, Jeff Lynne, George Martin, Steve Miller and James McCartney, it managed that rare feat of crossing over into the hearts and record collections of general music fans as well as Macca/Beatle nuts. And having finally acquired a vinyl copy, I'm delighted to say it's better than I thought it was. Enjoy!
