This is the "modern" revised way of playing Art Tatum's version of Tiger Rag. It is very noticeable, but this is the way most people that put it up on Youtube actually play it. I think Chris Jordan is the only one that didn't play it like this. Listen to 4:12- 5:12 and you realize that this is very different from the real Tiger Rag that Art Tatum played. However, it is the kind that people tend to play because it is much easier and the typical listener won't typically notice much of a difference (between this and Art Tatum's real version). I do not own this, this was composed by Al Levy and i had to purchase the midi for six US dollars.
