The Coturn CT-01 is a premium portable rechargeable bluetooth-equipped vinyl record player I first reviewed in 2021. The one I tested back then had some issues. I now have a newer version that promises to resolve these problems. Time to do some tests.
RE-UPLOADED - This video has been re-uploaded in order to revise the tracking force tests to show the accurate result for a spring loaded tonearm. Originally I thought the arm was weighted rather than sprung, and as a result used the incorrect technique to measure the tracking force. The results now are approximately 0.5g less. So not a massive difference to what I got before but I didn't want to leave the video with inaccurate information. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Because subscribers already got a notification for the first upload, I turned the notification option off for this re-up as I don't want to spam people.

I paid for my first CT-01 on Kickstarter, I then paid £75 import duty to receive a non-functioning replacement and then finally I've paid another £95 duty to receive the one shown here. I’m returning my non-functioning one. So at the end, I’m left with one turntable, which I paid for.
MIC ISSUES - were caused by a new wireless mic being used too near a wireless modem and picking up interference. I’ve relocated the modem now.
