Yamaha's sub-£10k sportsbike has been given a makeover for 2026.

Arguably a little less track focussed than before, its upgraded electronics and revised ergonomics promise to make a more accessible road bike without compromising track potential.

We sent Adam Child, aka Chad, to Spain (or was it Portugal?) to test the new R7 on both road and track to give us his definitive verdict.
