For those interested, yes, I use text-to-voice for my video reviews. The simplest answer to why is that while people had wanted video reviews for years, the voice element was always an obstacle. My speaking voice isn't terribly loud, I read from a script like complete ass, and in the time I'm usually writing reviews and making the videos my household simply isn't quiet enough. It isn't the ideal solution, but it was that or not do video reviews in the end... so AI voice was the compromise. I use Microsoft Clipchamp with Andrew for reference.
