A great 4K camera for throwing on an RC plane or drone to get excellent flight footage. This Runcam 5 Orange is just like the Runcam 5 black but better!
Pros:
- it's orange! Easier to find in the grass and leaf-litter
- it's so much cheaper than a GoPro
- it's light and small
- a nice high bitrate for sharp, clean video
- fits GoPro Session mounts
Cons:
- audio is still a bit low in normal mode
- electronic image stabilization is okay for hand-held but not as good as GoPro for flight footage
- no provision for mounting ND filters
Bottom line:
You'd be crazy not to have one (or two) of these for getting HD/4K footage from your racing/freestyle quad or FPV fixed-wing.
