Photography gear reviews are not necessarily my thing, but I purchased Kipon EF-GFX AF lens adapter for my medium format Fuji GFX 50s camera after seeing it on eBay for months to see if it is any good for my fine art portrait photography. This allows me to use Canon autofocus lenses on my Fuji GFX camera.

Equipment is the conduit between creativity and reality in photography. My work is not necessarily gear-dependent, but I find it much easier to be a photographer when my equipment helps me and doesn’t get in my way. So, no, this adapter will not make you a better photographer. But will it help your work? See what I find out.

I tested this adapter with the Canon 40mm 2.8 STM pancake lens.
