Inovelli is a new entrant into the smart home automation lineup. The Show Home smart outlet is a dual channel wireless z-wave plug in module that allows both channels to be controlled separately or together. Since the Dual Outlet Smart PlugIn Module is z-wave plus certified, it should integrate into any certified smart hub. In this video we will setup and review the Inovelli device and connect it to a Wink Hub 2 and a gen 2 Amazon Echo Dot. This makes controlling your devices as simple as saying, “Alexa, turn on the light”. The video contains detailed setup demonstrations for both the Wink Hub and Amazon Echo Dot using the iPhone Wink App. PlugIn modules make great smart outlets for DIY people that live in apartments or have homes with older wiring. We will also compare the Inovelli wireless smart outlet to the GE 12719 Z Wave Plug in Smart Switch.
