If you dont know what a kancho is, youre and for a rather unpleasant surprise today.
This is one of the things that really shocked me about Japanese classroom culture ( I had never watched Naruto & the 1000 years of pain). Its one of those aspects of Japanese culture thats treated as normal, but would be EXTREMELY hard to get away with in the U.S.
If youre ever teaching in Japan and you encounter a rather unexpected, unpleasant jolt in your backside, you may have just been the latest victim of the classic, Japanese kids game - the kancho game , aka the finger enema game.
