"Revenge of the Mutant Camels" is a shoot'em up developed by Llamasoft (Jeff Minter) and released as a shareware in 1991 on the Atari ST.
00:00 Title screen
01:00 Assorted easy avian aliens (1 player with CPU)
02:13 Raindrops keep falling on my beast
03:20 Beastie has had a nice cupe of tea
04:40 Whacky whackers !
05:55 Attack of the mutant mutant camels
07:01 Restart-Oasis
07:19 This kiosk is a nuclear free zone
08:30 Haven't we met somewhere before ?
09:44 Aggressive Austarlian alpinists
10:58 Rock'N'Roll-ups
12:09 Telecom's comeuppance
12:18 Game Over
12:44 High-score table
It sets you as a mutated camel, with an optional support one mimicking your moves elsewhere. Shot enemies release tokens ranging from points bonuses and energy recharges to control-reversers and poison.
The game uses the same system as Llamatron, which means that you fire automatically in the direction you're moving, but pressing the fire button allows you to rotate the direction of fire while immobile.
Revenge has the same gameplay modes as Llamatron: Solo, Droid (called CPU ASSIST in Revenge)
and Two-Player.
It's the "STe 1MB" version of this game (it runs better than the 512K version, has extra samples, nice raster colour effects,...)
