We go in-depth comparing two of the most elite high-end tower loudspeakers on the market: the $17,600/pair Revel PerformaBe F328Be and the $21,990/pair Perlisten S7t.
The Revel is a 3-way, 5-driver ported tower featuring three 8" aluminum/ceramic composite woofers, a 5.25" midrange, and a 1" beryllium tweeter housed in a 6th-gen waveguide. It delivers a wide, neutral sound with excellent dynamics and room-filling spaciousness. Its build quality is very good and consistent with Revel’s high standards—but not quite on the same level as the Perlisten.
The Perlisten S7t is built to an entirely different standard of engineering precision and craftsmanship. This 4-way, THX Dominus–certified design features four 7" Textreme carbon fiber woofers, dual 2.1" Textreme midranges, and a 1.1" beryllium tweeter in the proprietary DPC (Directivity Pattern Control) array. With class-leading output, surgical imaging, and controlled dispersion, the S7t excels in both performance and construction, making it one of the most technically advanced tower speakers available today.
