After a month of secrecy, Jaspas' April 1st release is finally revealed! All secrets!
Made available on April 1st, 2018, which is of course Jaspas’ titular favorite day, The deck was printed in a limited edition run of 888 decks. Neither jaspas or NDO offered potential customers any idea of what exactly they were buying. The purchase had to be made sight unseen. Intrepid buyers however are treated to one of the best handling decks this reviewer has ever fumbled with lack luster cardistry. Jaspas has provided a secret formula of finish and stock that is sure to satisfy the most discerning cardist.
The faces eschew the traditional red and black for a bolder pink and blue palette. The Ace of spades is particularly colorful. The pip layout is unique and custom and consistent with other Jaspas decks. The courts are brightly recolored bicycle standards. The cardbacks appear to be a simple black design at first but there’s a much bigger puzzle to be solved with them.
