Nearly 90 University of Alaska Fairbanks Geophysical Institute researchers — faculty, students and staff — made just over 100 oral and poster presentations at this year’s annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union.

The weeklong meeting was held Dec. 9-13 in Washington, D.C. About 25,000 people attend the annual meeting of the nation’s leading geosciences organization.

The 2025 meeting will be held in New Orleans.
