Cause certain bots here fucked me over by making the original upload tots-only.
Can anyone guess what now-long gone video edit at 0:04-0:08 I'm referencing? (hint: comes from one of the editors who made a certain stupid purple cow-erm dino swear a lot)

In his autobiography "Somewhere Out There: My Animated Life", Former Disney animator and animation legend Don Bluth was offered a deal around 1989 from Roy E. Disney, nephew of Walt Disney, to bury the hatchet between Disney and Bluth, have Bluth and the animators that left with him come back to the House of Mouse, and possibly have his Ireland studio become a satellite unit of Walt Disney Feature (or Television) Animation.
Despite Roy trying to convince him, Bluth turned down the offer, saying that "If we keep trying to compete with you, what might happen is you will work harder to make your pictures better.”
What happened next was an upward spiral for Disney and a downward spiral for Bluth.
This is from a what if scenario where Bluth, realizing that Disney may have him beat,
agrees to Roy's deal, and thus Sullivan Bluth Studios becomes Walt Disney Animation Ireland Limited.
As a result, Disney manages to acquire distribution rights to The Secret of NIMH and All Dogs Go to Heaven from MGM/UA, with Disney theatrically reissuing All Dogs (in it's original uncut PG verison at the request of Bluth, who felt the film didn't do well in it's original cut G-rated release) in the summer of 1990.
This fake VHS opening is a "what if" release where Buena Vista Home Video releases NIMH on home video around August of 1990, with Disney's name not being attached to the film until a later theatrical reissue in 1992.
