After a long absence, I’m finally back with my English cover of Sara’s “Return to the Sea”! I tried rushed this out for you yesterday, but well, Sakura explains it through extra slides during the instrumental break. In short, Cakewalk messed up on 2 accounts (crackly mp3 and the whole project glitching out when I tried to fix the crackly places) and I had to redo the whole thing… while just getting over being ill.🤒 (Yes, I know this was a cloddy idea. So, call me a clod all you want.) Granted, my voice sounded worse in the higher slow part yesterday than today, so at least the final product came out better… 😅 Even if I probably should’ve waited at least a couple more days before trying this, Sakura even had something on the back burner already. But I felt bad I’ve been MIA for so long😔 and wanted to rush this out for you.😜
I’m fine though. Don’t worry!😅 I’m already almost fully recovered from this annoying flu, just need to “chillax” (as Amethyst calls it🤣) for another day or two!
We’ve also been very busy these fast few months with Crystal Gem stuff and a monster that attacked me while on my way to the warp pad to come home from visiting Bismuth in Little Homeworld. Sakura knew about this… *THING* since seeing it while riding her pony in the forest bridging Little Homeworld and Beach City BACK IN *MAY* but never told anyone about it and just assumed it wasn’t any more dangerous than the Ursaring and Beedrill in the forest until the incident since it never chased her beyond the forest boundary. THEN she entered full panic attack mode. For some reason we seem to be a magnet for these supernatural things…😮💨
Oh! Well, this ended up being a lot longer than a short summary.🤣 Well, anyway enjoy! You may have to turn up the volume 1 or 2 notches for the verses (and back down for the choruses). They sounded louder in the project. I’m gonna go watch ponies with ‘Kura.😜
