GUIDE:
Kill 10 Enemies by Returning Shots with the Void Reactor.
To get started, you'll need to purchase the Void Repulser from Ms. Zukron. It costs 17,500 and becomes available toward the end of Planet 4: Savali.
Next, you'll need to level up the Void Repulser to Level 5 by using it to attack enemies. Once it reaches Level 5, it will evolve into the Void Reactor, changing its name in the process.
With the Void Reactor, hold L2 to generate a shield that absorbs bullets fired by enemies. If done correctly, the shield will turn purple, and glowing purple dots will appear on the right side, indicating the number of bullets stored. Once the shield is charged, press R2 to return fire and shoot the stored bullets back at enemies. Ensure you maintain enough distance so the bullets deal the killing blow, rather than the shield’s blast itself! Since these bullets don’t track enemies and instead travel in a straight line, make sure your aim is properly centered and target stationary enemies for best results.
A great way to farm this technique is in the 1st Bronze Battleplex Challenge, “Welcoming Committee.” Eliminate the enemies in the first wave, then in the second wave, pirates will appear, firing slow-moving projectiles. Use the Void Reactor to reflect their shots, clear the remaining waves, and repeat the challenge until you secure the trophy.
For optimal results, avoid purchasing upgrades (the ones that require Raritanium) for the Void Repulser/Void Reactor. Some upgrades increase the shield’s blast radius, which can cause enemies to be defeated by the blast itself, rather than the reflected bullets! If fully upgraded, it’s still possible to use this method, but enemies must be positioned much farther away, preferably at the opposite end of the arena.
