RetroTech Chris | RetroTutorial: Configure MS-DOS to Send and Receive SMS Text Messages (Including Raspberry Pi Setup) @RetroTechChris | Uploaded December 2020 | Updated October 2024, 58 minutes ago.
Join us as we cover the procedure for setting up MS-DOS to send and receive SMS text messages! This procedure was executed on a Raspberry Pi Model 3B+ and with a virtual Android 10 and MS-DOS system (but has also been executed on real hardware). ONE CORRECTION: At time 23:22, I say that you can call "jabber" anything you want. THAT'S NOT TRUE, you must use the phrase "account add jabber account_name". Apologies.
UPDATE 1/3/2023: The written procedure has been updated to support later versions of Andriod!
