A couple of times back in late spring and early summer 2023, I captured LNER B1 No. 61306 “Mayflower” on a couple of railtours between Shoeburyness and Portsmouth.
On 31 May, both Southern and GWR were on strike so it was a particularly quiet day for trains, although I was still able to get around, and a couple of clips of Class 450s and 444s are included for good measure.
On 1 June I was taken by surprise at Havant while waiting for a train, and managed to catch Mayflower passing through on the way to Portsmouth again.
