RetroModding.com sent me one of their amazing new marbled plastic shells to try out along with a few other cool modding bits, I hope you enjoy this video of the build I put together with these awesome parts.
All the parts you can see in the video (apart from the gameboy itself) including the shell, retro pixel screen kit, 3D printed bracket and the button sets can be found for sale at

To celebrate the release of the new shells, they are launching a contest on their instagram page

From RetroModding:
"From January 4th to 7th, we will publish a contest on instagram to allow the community to choose the name of the new Game Boy shell. Two themes will be proposed: space and ocean. Each participant has to follow our instagram page, like the post and choose their team by adding #RMTeamOcean or #RMTeamSpace in the comment section. They also have to suggest a name for the shell! In addition to that, we will also give away 5 shells among all participants!"
I think I'm leaning more towards #RMTeamSpace, how about you?
