Hello everyone, in this video we are looking at the brand new update for the Retroid Pocket 5 which will fix some of the biggest issues the device has had since it was released!
One of the main talking points since the release of the handheld has been the audio quality. I've posted 2 videos of how to fix it before but Retroid has been working with the creator of that fix and implemented their own fix directly into an update!
There have also been reports of swollen batteries when charging the RP5 with high-speed chargers. This new update may also help there as the charging voltage has been slightly adjusted.
For anybody having issues with the system rebooting when inserting an SD card, there's also a fix for that too.
Hopefully this update will make the handheld even better!

"It seems many people are having trouble getting the 152 firmware for the retroid pocket 5. You will receive "no internet/connection/wifi" error of some sort of you are not on firmware 106 already.
First try clearing cache by following these steps
Go to Settings/system/FOTA
Hit three dots
Clear cache
Try update button again
If that does not work download the following:
Download the link below for the 152 OTA update directly.

Then follow these steps to install firmware:
Rename the file to update.zip, put it in the root of your sd card/internal storage.
On the Retroid Pocket FOTA screen (settings - system - retroid pocket FOTA), click the three vertical dots on the upper right.
Choose Local Update. Click Ok."
