I had the great priviledge to speak with Retro Studios' Former Senior Director of Development, Bryan Walker. He worked at the company from 2003-2012, and played a part in bringing to market a number of Nintendo's games, such as Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Metroid Prime 2 & 3. We talked about how DKC Returns came to be, and about many of his experiences working at Retro, notably some fond memories working with Shigeru Miyamoto and Satoru Iwata. It was a great privilege to get the chance to talk to someone who helped bring a piece of my childhood to life. Can you tell that I was nervous?
