In this video I showcase Retro Sonic, a fan-made Sonic game from the early 2000s. This beta was created by Taxman (Christian Whitehead), and its technology later formed the basis for the Sonic CD remasters, Sonic 1 and Sonic 2. The game recreates classic Mega Drive era gameplay with smooth animation and accurate physics.
