Ridge Racer on the original PlayStation — fastest time wins.
This is a retro racing challenge taken straight from the retro gaming community, and despite being an Xbox gamer and not a racing-game specialist, I had to step up and take it on.
The rules were simple:
• Beginner course
• Automatic transmission
• Default car only
• Fastest two-lap time wins
Sounds straightforward… until the emulation setup fought back.
The visuals were rough, the audio was broken, and visibility was brutal — but challenges don’t come with perfect conditions. So when the setup fails, it’s time to lock in, focus up, and activate GOD MODE.
