In this camping video, I’m sharing our experience camping at Restoule Provincial Park, a park tour, and my overall thoughts of our time there. Restoule is a beautiful park with a lot of water access – so if water sports are your thing, this might be the park for you. Accessible by canoe, kayak, or paddleboard, Restoule Provincial Park provides an easy-access backcountry camping experience. It is a great option for first-time backcountry visitors and families.
Restoule’s Stormy Lake is a jumping off point for more advanced multi-day canoe routes down the French River. Many great hiking trails are within a short distance.
All campsites are clearly marked and have a designated fire pit, box privy, and tent pads. Many of the campsites have natural sand beaches that make landing boats very easy.
